Talofa Lava everyone,
Yesterday, Green Bubble learnt about tapa cloth design and pattern print making. We began by looking at traditional tapa designs and motifs. Then we drew our own designs on white paper. After that, we copied them onto brown paper, used vivid as ink, and finally, scrunched and punched our paper into a soft, smooth cloth!
This what they look like together!
Thank you very much to Ms Potter for the lesson.
We think they look cool. Emilee said she would like to give that a try. Well done! From Weka at Kaniere School
ReplyDeleteKia ora Weka,
ReplyDeleteThe kids had lots of fun with the scrunching and got stuck in with the task. You can use this idea if you like!
