Johnson Reserve Eel Trip

  Hi everyone,

Today Green Bubble (Room 4 and Room 6 pupils) and their teachers walked to Johnson Reserve to look at and feed the eels. We learned that they are native to Aotearoa New Zealand and are protected from people and other animals that try to harm them or eat them.

After that, we walked back to school and made a plan for writing a recount of our trip and then spent a little time writing a story about it.

Here is a photo of one of our pupils observing the group of eels.

Chalk and Black Paper 'Destruction' Art

 Hi Everyone,

This week Green Bubble made chalk and black paper art. The theme was 'Destruction'. We learned a little about World War II and how the city of London in the United Kingdom was bombed by the Nazi German Airforce.

Thank you very much Miss. White for the lesson!

Flower Multiplication Maths

 Hi Everyone,

Today we changed up our maths lesson and focussed on our times tables. Ms Potter taught us how to complete some of our times table charts using chalk and flowers!

We had a lot of fun : )
